Our Process for bespoke work

Bookings and payments

Bespoke work

Your bespoke booking is only confirmed in our calendar once a 30% non-refundable deposit has been paid. 

We do not accept tentative bookings. Due to the nature of the industry, we are unable to hold dates after the 14-day quote period.

After the pre-wedding or event chat, a balance invoice will be sent for your reference.

Finalisation of items required for your wedding or event is required no less than 4 weeks out from the wedding or event date at which time, a final payment invoice for the balance of items, will be issued for payment.

 A payment plan can be set up at your request. Payment is required by direct bank transfer.

Package work

Packages do not include a planning consultation or pre-wedding/event catchup, however you are welcome to email through x1 reference image for us to view. Consultations can be added by request but will incur a consult fee.

For all packages we require full payment once you confirm your booking, and your booking is only confirmed in our calendar once full payment has been paid.

We provide a one page colour palette and floral choices mood board after payment, note, changes to this is limited due to the package pricing. We reconfirm all package requirements with you 6 weeks prior to your wedding or event day.

Substitution

We work within your chosen colour palette, style and theme, rather than to specific flowers. We use the freshest seasonal, locally grown flowers available. If you have a specific floral requirement, we will do our best to source it.

Mother nature can be fickle, and from time to time we are unable to supply the flowers we have quoted you or you have requested. In this instance, you will be notified, and a suitable flower will be substituted. We ask you to trust our knowledge and experience when making these substitutions.

Wedding or Event Cancellations or Changes

The non-refundable deposit of 30% of your quote will be retained if any bespoke booking is cancelled. For packages we will provide a 50% refund of the full cost should your package booking be cancelled.

Change to a wedding or event date must be notified at least three calendar months prior to your wedding or event and is subject to our availability. A new date must fall within 12 calendar months of the original date booked. Prices may vary for changed dates due to change in seasonal availability, in which case you will be supplied with an updated quote.

Cancellations within 6 weeks of your wedding or event date incur changes for 50% of the value for bespoke work or if you have ordered a package no refunds are given.

Cancellations under 2 weeks out for bespoke work remain liable for full payment.

Varying an Order

Bespoke Work

Any changes to your floral design quote must be made 6 weeks prior to your wedding or event date. Changes requested by you any closer than 6 weeks are at our discretion. We will endeavour to accommodate any last-minute changes; however, this is dependent on availability, suppliers, lead times, seasonality and other factors oustide our control.

No more than a 15% reduction in the total design quote from your initial consultation/acceptance is allowed prior to 6 weeks before your wedding or event date providing you still remain above our $1500 minimum spend for bespoke work. Any greater than 15% reduction in the final design quote will be charged accordingly.

Any deletions made less than 6 weeks from the wedding or event date will be charged in full.

Package Work

Reduction in items included in a package booking are not permitted.

Delivery - bespoke work only

All venue contact details and bump in times must be confirmed 2 weeks prior to your wedding or event.

It is your responsibility to ensure we have all correct venue contact details and you have confirmed correct bump in times with the venue managers to ensure we have ample time to set up.

Professional Photography

We ask our clients to give permission to their professional photographer to supply Prim Petal Co. with professional photographs of our work from your event or wedding day.

Any photos provided to us, by you, your photographer or guests will only be used with permission from the providing relevant party. We will credit all suppliers when using photos on our social media and website.

We take no responsibility for any unlawful use of photographs that are taken from our social media and website without our approval.

Hire - bespoke work only

All hire items & terms and conditions will be clearly stated on your quote.

The hire cost is charged to cover normal wear and tear.

Any broken, chipped or lost hire items will be charged at the full recommended retail price (RRP). This will be outlined to you in an invoice, in the event of lost or broken items.

Other

We do not work on events with other florists unless we have been asked prior to confirmation of booking and have given our written approval.

Agreement

By proceeding with our quote, and paying your deposit for bespoke work or paying for your package in full, you agree to our Terms and Conditions as stated above.
