Flannel Flower
With Prim Petal Co. favourite cosmos, not available until late spring/early summer, flannel flower steps in as it’s spring time sister. Super hardy and floaty in equal parts, flannel flower looks great in bouquets, ceremony setups or on your reception tables.

Forget-me-not
These sweeties are bringing the spring garden vibes to any wedding. With the rise in popularity of blue in wedding florals, forget-me-not is a great option in spring for that pale blue loveliness. They are very short stemmed and do prefer to stay in water however, so play best in vases or aisle florals.
Locally available: late September, October

Ranunculus
My Oma grew these every spring, so they hold a special place in our hearts here at Prim Petal Co. We love them for their dense petals and beautiful rounded shape, which makes them perfect in bouquets, with smaller heads working so well for buttonholes.
Locally available: July- September
Colours: yellow, white, orange, pink, purple, burgundy, some bicolour varieties also available.
Sweet Pea
Sweet peas scream spring. They have lovely butterfly-like petals and almost backward facing flowers. They tend on the shorter stem in size, so work well in bouquets and bud vases. We love adding their tendril-like foliage for that extra touch of whimsy in your wedding flowers.

Colours: white, pink, purple, mauve, red, peach
Andromeda
Part flower, part foliage, andromeda is a super versatile element for any spring wedding. We love it’s drape and volume, which adds beautiful movement to arbours, urns, bouquets and aisle flowers.
Locally available: August-November
Colour: most commonly found in white with pink becoming more readily available
